Golden Light

A stunning and unique piece of textural wall art, 'Golden Light' is handmade using the technique of macrame with soft twisted cotton cords in black, pale yellow and white.  The juxtaposition of the geometric pattern against the ruffled picots creates both volume and a visually striking effect of shifting visuals. The piece features an embellished fringe of wooden beads in shades of ombre and a transparent yellow acrylic dowel which glows when a light source is directed towards it, evoking the long rays of the sun.  This piece was inspired by a an evening walk and the sight of the sun's golden light cutting through the dusky sky as the day was drawing to a close.
