Matcha Flow

'Matcha Flow' is a tactile and unique piece of wall art.  Handmade using soft twisted-cotton cords and natural raffia, the sense of movement is created by using macrame knotting to manipulate the cords away from the natural vertical fall.  Silky strands of free-flowing ombre Rattail cord are nestled within the natural kink and rigidity of palm leaf raffia and these cloak, and contrast with, the flexible nature of the soft cotton cords.  Textural elements such as the berry knots, the heavy fringe and the draping tassels are featured and the piece is knotted on to a natural wooden dowel to complement the colour palette.
