Olive Rose

'Olive Rose' is a handmade piece of wall art using the traditional technique of macrame with soft twisted cotton cords in a harmonizing colour palette of olive, pinks and pale peach.  This textural piece features sculpted elements with a hand-crafted rose made of silk Indian saris incorporated into the intricately patterned centre piece from which flows ribbons of shimmering silk Indian saris and soft strands of merino wool in the colour of lavender.  The piece is suspended from a natural wood dowel.
