These terms and conditions cover items purchased from Karen Morgan / www.karenmorganart.com / Karen Morgan Art. By proceeding with a purchase from this website, you accept that you are entering into a contract bound by these terms and conditions below. Use of Site

You may use, download and print content on the website solely for your own personal use or internal business purposes. 

 

Apart from your own personal use or internal business purposes, you may not without our prior written consent:

  • copy, reproduce, use or otherwise deal with any content on the website;

  • modify, distribute or re-post any content on the website for any purpose;

  • reproduce, crawl, frame, link to or deep-link into this website on or from any other website;

 

Products

Each product is handmade and therefore is subject to variations in colour, textures and sizes within reason. We

take great care with product photography to make sure that we are providing you with pictures that accurately and fairly represent the pieces Karen Morgan makes and sells. While every effort has been made to portray items accurately, slight variations may occur. All measurements quoted are approximate as  everything is made by hand and the reproduction of colours is as accurate as photographic and publishing processes will allow.  Please note there may be variations in colours depending on the calibration and settings of individual computer screens. 


Textiles are constructed in such a way that when rolled and transported, may lead to the appearance of compression and/or displacement of fibres. This can be addressed with gentle manipulation and by hanging the textile(s).  Kinks in cords can also be removed with the gentle use of a handheld steamer. Textiles and fibres should not be immersed in any liquid and should not be dampened until wet. They should not be machine washed, dry cleaned or tumble dried. Textiles and multi-media art works should be be treated gently and with care and can be lightly dusted with a feather duster. A soft powder make-up brush can be used to brush through the clay elements on the sculpted painted panels.

Availability of stock

 

Please note, whilst every effort is made to maintain the accuracy of our information on available stock on occasion discrepancies may occur. Should you place an order for an item displayed as available on our website, and in fact we cannot produce this piece or it has already been sold, we will notify you as soon as possible.

Order contract and Delivery 

​

If for any reason, there is a problem in processing the order then we will notify you via email or telephone of the circumstances of why it could not be fulfilled. This could be for one of the following reasons:

​

  1. There was an error in how the product was described or priced on the website

  2. One of the products in the order is currently out of stock

  3. We are unable to take full payment for your order

  4. You did not fulfil your obligations as set out under these terms and conditions


Karen Morgan reserves the right to cancel your order without liability. In such circumstances, we shall let you know as soon as possible.​​ If there are any problems with your order, you will be contacted by Karen Morgan Art.

 

Please take care to enter your delivery address correctly as we cannot be held responsible for any undelivered parcels or parcels delayed in transit due to incorrect address details being provided to us. All deliveries must be signed for at the delivery address you provide to me at the time of your order. We cannot specify a time when your order will be delivered.

If your package gets lost in transit, we will do everything possible to assist you, but we cannot be held responsible for packages if there is proof of delivery.

 

Should your package require a signature, Karen Morgan Art is not responsible for any charges incurred for refused packages. If the package has to be resent, the fees to re-ship the original package will be invoiced to the client and must be paid in full prior to re-shipment.

Payment

​

We accept payment by most card providers via Apple Pay and Google Pay. We also accept payment by bank transfer and cheque. Cheques will have to clear with the funds deposited into our account before the order can be agreed. You are responsible for any charges made by your bank for cheques and bank transfers.

If your card issuer does not authorise your card payment, we will contact you, but your order will not be processed until a full and authorised payment has been received. Please note that you, as the customer, are responsible for any taxes or duties (such as import duties) payable on your order.

​

All credit/debit card purchases are subject to the normal validation checks and authorisation procedures adopted by the card issuer.

​

Payment Plan

​

For any work we can offer an interest-free payment plan in instalments. Please contact us if you want to discuss this. Once the final payment is made, your chosen piece will be sent to you.

​

Receipt of Order Confirmation

You will receive an Order Confirmation email as soon as you have purchased a piece. Please keep it in a safe place as we may ask you for information from it in any correspondence.  If you do not receive this email please contact us so that we may investigate and confirm that your order has been placed successfully.

Order Cancellation and Returns Policy


If you wish to cancel your order prior to dispatch, please contact me on info@karenmorganart.com at the earliest opportunity to discuss this. Bespoke orders can only be cancelled within 48 hours of you placing an order/payment of deposit.  Cancellation of a bespoke order after 48 hours will result in loss of your deposit.

Missing, Incomplete or Damaged Orders

​

All work is carefully packed and wrapped. If you receive work that has been damaged in transit please contact Karen Morgan Art at info@karenmorganart.com within 7 days and send visual evidence of both the damaged artwork and the packaging.

 

We cannot be responsible for any items sent back to us that do not arrive. If your order hasn’t arrived, or arrives incomplete, please report it to us and we will endeavour to sort out the problem with you. Email us at info@karenmorganart.com. If your order arrives and the goods are damaged, please follow the Returns & Refunds Policy.
